How to create Value-telling Content?

What’s Value-telling Content I hear you ask?  Good question.

Check out what it is here https://blu-j.co.uk/wtf-is-value-telling-content-and-why-should-you-care/

Value-telling Content is the good stuff. The main act. The jam in the donut.  This is how you record all the cool stuff you do.  The evidence you will show in any persuasive situation, like an interview, a sales pitch, an account review or even a proposal.

It is common for Value-telling Content to be related to a Win Theme. When creating the Content, you can pin it to a Win Theme or create one at the same time. If you are unsure what Win Themes are, follow the link below: https://blu-j.co.uk/what-are-win-themes/.

Tip:  Make proof and not promises. The more Value-telling Content you create, the more evidence, proof points and persuasive material you will have at your disposal. This is how you will build a portfolio of white-hot examples of the great things you do.

To create some Value-telling Content in the Blu-J Platform, all you need to do is, simply go to the Home screen, also known as the Dashboard.  At the top of the screen, in a ribbon that runs the width of your screen, you will see a handful of options to create stuff. One of these options allows you to create Content.

Simply click it and a blank Content template will automatically open.  Firstly, you must name the Content piece. This will make it easy to find and it will show in your draft Content, until you have submitted it for approval.  Each piece of content is allocated a unique identification number we call UID. This also makes it easy to find.

Each piece of Value-telling Content has five tabs called About, Content, Attachments, Feedback and Actions.  The About tab will allow you to pick which Win Theme the Content is associated with and also what Group you are representing.  There is other basic information you can add here like dates, if the Value-telling Content is linked to a particular client or location.

Once you have completed the About tab, you move to the most important one, which is called Content. You can then work through the options available to you, like adding a picture or logo, the benefits of the content and so much more.  There are plenty of toggles too, so if your Content is a lesson learnt, a solution or a way you are compliant, you can click on the toggle and a text box appears to capture specific details.

Tip:  We always recommend pictures, video, links and other external data to support your content.  These are housed in the Attachment tab.

Tip:  You can attach social proof to your Content by submitted a request for a Testimonial to anyone.  This is a great way to add credibility to your piece of Content.

The Action tab is the last one. There is nothing to complete here, but you can do loads of important things here, like copy the Value-telling Content you have created, share it internally with another Blu-J license holder, and submit it for approval.  You can also export the Value-telling Content to a word document so it can be edited further and turned into some compelling marketing or sales collateral.
